Our Team
Autofixa was established in 1982 by Laurence Weimer. It is now owned and managed by the present owner, Clenton Lincoln. Our team of technicians, led by Clenton, are experienced in all makes of vehicles, with a particular emphasis on Audi and VW vehicles. Our technicians take pride in their workmanship.
Clenton Lincoln
Clenton has extensive experience in the motor vehicle industry. Working on fixing school buses with his father since childhood, he then qualifying as a mechanic. He has since spent 5 years managing a team of technicians in a vehicle compliance centre, before owning and operating his own workshop businesses since 2004.
His qualifications include:
- NZ National Certificate Motor Industry (Automotive Engineering)
- Automotive Air Conditioning Technician – NZ Motor Training Org Inc
- Automotive Air Conditioning Training - Ingram Corporation (NZ) Ltd
Vikash Subhadu
Our head mechanic, Vikash Subhadu, has joined us from Mauritius where he was Workshop Manager
at a nationally recognised Mauritius workshop. Like Clenton, from childhood he grew up in the family
workshop business where he was exposed to all vehicle repairs. Vikash is bilingual in English and French. His qualifications include:
- NZ Warrant of Fitness Inspector
- BTEC National Diploma in Motor Vehicles (UK)
- Diploma in Motor Vehicles (Mauritius)
- Additional Training in Petrol Injection, Electronic Ignition and Diagnostics
